Job Description

Position Overview Lambert Nemec Group is partnering with a respected and growing organization in its search for a Sales Manager. This is a senior leadership opportunity for an experienced sales professional who thrives in people leadership, accountability, and execution. The role focuses on leading an established, geographically dispersed sales team while helping shape and drive the divisions go-to-market strategy in collaboration with executive leadership. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys building alignment, guiding seasoned sales professionals through change, and ensuring strong sales discipline without needing to be the top individual contributor. The Sales Manager will play a key role in supporting continued growth while maintaining a healthy, customer-focused sales culture. Key Responsibilities Provide day-to-day leadership, direction, and performance management for a growing sales team, including outside, inside, and independent representatives. Work closely with executive leadership to translate high-level sales strategy into clear priorities, measurable goals, and practical execution plans for the team. Hold the sales organization accountable to KPIs, territory plans, CRM usage, and activity metrics, ensuring consistency and follow-through across all regions. Coach, mentor, and develop sales team members through regular one-on-one meetings, performance reviews, and ongoing skills development. Guide the team through change by setting clear expectations, reinforcing structure, and building trust with a seasoned group of sales professionals. Support key customer and dealer relationships alongside sales representatives when needed, including attending trade shows and select customer visits. Partner cross-functionally with marketing, engineering, and leadership to share market feedback, support product direction, and align field activity with company objectives. Manage the sales budget and participate in regular forecasting and performance reviews with senior leadership. Requirements 5+ years of B2B sales experience, ideally within agricultural equipment, manufacturing, or industrial markets. At least 2 years of experience leading, coaching, and holding sales teams accountable in a structured environment. A proven track record of driving performance through others rather than personal selling. Strong ability to implement sales processes, metrics, and discipline while maintaining positive team culture. Experience working with CRM systems, forecasting, and performance reporting. High emotional intelligence, maturity, and confidence to lead experienced sales professionals through change. Comfort collaborating closely with senior leadership and participating in financial and strategic discussions. Willingness to travel to approximately 10-12 trade shows per year, dealer visits, and team support. Rewards Competitive base salary in the range of $95,000-$115,000, depending on experience. Performance-based bonus tied to division growth. Opportunity to lead a critical business unit with direct impact on growth and strategy. Stable, collaborative leadership environment with room to make meaningful improvements and leave your mark.
