Location: Shepherds Care Administration Offices: 12601 135 AVE NW, Edmonton, AB Reporting to the Manager, Occupational Health & Safety (OHS), the OHS Specialist works closely with the Manager, OHS and site management to advance the OHS and Workers Compensation (WC) programs across the organization. In addition, the OHS Specialist develops OHS procedures and conducts training of employees in OHS processes. Key Responsibilities Manage safety software and conduct training. Lead incident investigations. Track safety metrics and oversee contractor compliance. Maintain training records and support WCB claim management. Support audits, hazard assessments, and emergency response plans. Promote a culture of safety and continuous improvement across the organization. Qualifications, Education, Experience Graduate of a post-secondary program (minimum twoyear program) in OHS, Disability Management, or Health and Safety Administration. Canadian Registered Safety Professional preferred; if designation not held, willing to work towards one. Three to five years of recent and progressive OHS/disability management experience. Experience using and managing electronic safety software. Current valid drivers license. Fluency in English (read, write, speak).
