Location: Ottawa, Ontario, Onsite, fieldbased role across the Ottawa region Language: English, fluent in both written and spoken communication (French considered an asset) Duration: Permanent Compensation: base salary + uncapped commission About the Opportunity Our client is a growing apparel organization looking to expand its footprint across the Ottawa market. They are seeking a driven, relationshipfocused Outside Sales Representative who thrives on facetoface selling and understands that in apparel, strong partnerships and product knowledge matter just as much as price. In this role, you will balance managing an existing book of business while actively opening new doors across retail, corporate, and specialty channels. You will be trusted to own your territory, represent seasonal collections inmarket, and build longterm relationships that translate into consistent growth. Your Responsibilities Youll own and grow a defined sales territory across the Ottawa region Youll build and maintain longterm relationships with retail buyers and decisionmakers Youll prospect and develop new accounts through cold outreach, referrals, and networking Youll present seasonal collections, product lines, and promotions in person Youll manage the full sales cycle from initial contact through order placement and followup Youll monitor market trends, competitor activity, and evolving customer needs Youll maintain accurate CRM records, forecasts, and activity reporting Youll collaborate with internal merchandising, inventory, and marketing teams Skills and Qualifications 2-5+ years of outside sales experience in the branded/corporate apparel and promotional materials space. Proven ability to build relationships and close deals in a competitive market Strong communication, presentation, and negotiation skills Highly organized with excellent time management skills Comfortable working independently in a fieldbased role Valid drivers license, access to a vehicle and willingness to travel within the territory Why Partner with Altis If youve never worked with a staffing agency before, we make it easy.
