Position Summary To pick and pack online grocery delivery orders ensuring a high quality standard and accuracy while adhering to strict safety and food hygiene standards to achieve customer satisfaction. What you''ll do Efficiently pick and assemble orders from various temperature areas with great care and quality in mind to achieve on-time delivery. Pack orders with attention to detail including distinguishing between similar named products, exact quantity, correct product codes. Ensure that picked products are of the highest quality and the freshest product selection. Document and label all orders correctly through pick slips, packaging details, shipping labels, etc. Optimize tote fill by packing orders in a space efficient manner while still maintaining product quality standards. Balance fulfillment responsibilities with customer interaction and support issues to resolution. Adhere to strict safety and food hygiene standards including maintaining a clean and hygienic work area, immediate clean up of spills and debris, operating material handling equipment safely, completing pre-inspection checks. Participate in continuous improvement initiatives by suggesting changes to operational procedures, productivity standards, quality standards, safety, working conditions, and demonstrating flexibility in completing assignments based on customer requests and meeting daily delivery schedules.
