OVERVIEW Alberta Blue Cross is currently seeking an enthusiastic individual to join our Corporate Insights team, working in a flexible work style arrangement. The Strategic Insights Analyst will deliver reporting and analysis expertise to internal clients and key decision makers which will improve operational productivity and drive business transformation through storytelling. The successful candidate will enjoy working collaboratively with various teams across the organization and will have a proven track record for delivering quality information and insights. This position reports to the Manager, Corporate Insights. WHAT YOU WILL DO Develop trust-based relationships with teams across various business areas to drive transformative change, improve operational productivity, and achieve excellence in performance. Apply a strategic mindset to anticipate questions and formulate possible solutions to business problems that arise through continuous improvement initiatives. Creatively build condensed and visually stunning presentations that are accurate, concise, and verifiable. Develop predictive analytics and forecasting models based on an understanding of the business environment, stakeholder needs, external factors and market conditions. WHAT YOU WILL HAVE Strong analytical and logical thinking skills with the ability to solve complex problems. Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to develop trust-based working relationships at all levels of the organization. Minimum of 5 years experience in developing presentations aimed at executive storytelling. Exceptional proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint. Capacity for self-motivation with a strong sense of ownership and accountability. Excellent organizational and priority management skills combined with demonstrated reliability, consistency, flexibility, and adaptability. Knowledge of data visualization tools such as PowerBI, MicroStrategy and Tableau are an asset. An undergraduate degree or diploma in Business, Economics, Accounting, or equivalent experience.
