On behalf of our Banking client, Procom is searching for an IT Security Analyst for a 6-month role. This position is a hybrid position with 2 days onsite at our clients Toronto office. IT Security Analyst - Job Description The Application Security team is globally accountable and supports the Banks business by enabling the execution of strategies, operations, and services while ensuring adherence to application security practices. This role involves proactively detecting application code flaws and working with teams to institute controls to mitigate risks related to web application vulnerabilities and threats. IT Security Analyst - Responsibilities Develop and enhance strategies to manage web application security vulnerabilities and threats. Enhance communication models for vulnerability remediation with development and infrastructure teams. Develop and enhance reporting for development teams and management to track remediation efforts. Recommend, design, assess, implement, deploy, and maintain application security controls. Identify, analyze, and communicate application vulnerabilities per CISO Directive. Ensure adherence to process flows for implementing control measures. Provide timely and accurate reporting of findings to relevant teams and management. IT Security Analyst - Mandatory Skills 10+ years of experience as an IT Security Analyst and software developer, including security coding practices. Experience in source code and/or application security assessments, including risk assessments and penetration testing. Proficiency with vulnerability testing and scanning tools such as Checkmarx, BurpSuite, Acunetix, or similar. IT Security Analyst Nice-to-Have Skills Prior Financial Institutional Experience. Experience generating reports and tailoring communication strategies for various technical and business audiences. IT Security Analyst Assignment Length This is a 6-month contract position with the possibility of extension depending on funding. IT Security Analyst - Start Date ASAP.
