Job Title : Quality Assurance (QA) Analyst Location : Remote (Canada-based) Type: Part Time / Contract / Project-based About the Role: Saint Laurent Consulting is hiring on behalf of our client. We are seeking a detail-oriented Quality Assurance (QA) Analyst to support ongoing testing for a large, public-facing government website used by millions of users. You will play a critical role in ensuring high quality, accessibility, performance, and usability across web and mobile platforms. This fully remote role offers the opportunity to work closely with product and development teams to deliver a reliable and user-friendly digital experience. Key Responsibilities: Perform manual, functional, regression, and compatibility testing across web and mobile applications. Conduct cross-browser, cross-device, and screen-size testing to ensure broad compatibility. Execute accessibility testing to maintain WCAG compliance. Assist with performance, usability, and user experience (UX) testing. Support AI ethics testing and other emerging quality standards. Create, execute, and maintain test cases, scripts, and documentation. Identify, document, and track defects using ticketing tools (e.g., Jira) and collaborate with developers to verify fixes. Support test automation efforts where applicable. Prioritize and manage multiple testing tasks in a fast-paced, remote environment. Required Qualifications: 3+ years of experience in QA or software/website testing, including experience working with public sector or government-facing projects. Strong expertise in functional, regression, accessibility, performance, compatibility, usability/UX, AI ethics, and test automation testing. Hands-on experience with bug tracking and test management tools (e.g., Jira, TestRail). Knowledge of cross-browser and cross-device compatibility testing. Excellent attention to detail, documentation skills, and analytical thinking. Ability to work independently in a remote setup. Location preference: Alberta (AB) Preferred Qualifications: Experience with accessibility testing (WCAG). Familiarity with test automation tools (e.g., Selenium, Cypress). Experience testing large-scale or public-sector websites.
