Our Concord, Ontario fulfillment center is a core node in our network and we are hiring a Site Manager who can lead it through the next stage of scale. Role Overview The Site Manager is the operational owner for the Concord fulfillment center. They are responsible for staffing, throughput, inventory accuracy, operational discipline, client satisfaction, and overall site performance . This person ensures that every order goes out on time , inbound is processed on schedule , and inventory is accurate across all SKUs and storage locations . They will work closely with inbound, outbound, and pick/pack supervisors and lead the day-to-day execution while also preparing the site for significant growth. This is a hands-on leadership role in a fast-paced environment with expanding responsibilities as 247 continues to scale. Key Responsibilities 1. Operational Leadership & Daily Execution Own daily operations of the fulfillment center, ensuring on-time outbound , accurate picking/packing , and clean, organized, safe warehouse conditions . Run daily huddles with inbound/outbound supervisors and the pick & pack lead to review priorities, labor plans, bottlenecks, and expected throughput. Ensure compliance with SOPs, scan-based workflows, and WMS accuracy across all processes. Monitor and drive KPIs: orders per hour , items per hour , dock-to-stock time , inventory accuracy , turnaround SLAs , labor efficiency , and quality metrics . 2. Staffing, Scheduling & Labor Management Oversee all staffing for the site including hiring, onboarding, scheduling, rotating staff, and managing shift coverage. Maintain tight control over overtime , aligning schedules to weekly volume forecasts. Partner with supervisors to ensure adequate staffing for inbound, outbound, replenishment, and value-added services (VAS). Build and maintain a strong, disciplined team culture with accountability, clarity, and structure. 3. Inventory Accuracy & Control Own full-site inventory accuracy cycle counts, recounts, root-cause analysis, bin maintenance, and zero-tolerance standards for shrink or mis-picks. Ensure every storage location (including pick faces, bulk, overstock, and forward pick) is organized and tight. Work with supervisors to correct variances quickly and prevent repeat issues. Ensure seamless execution during physical inventories with accurate prep, resourcing, and reconciliation. 4. Throughput, Planning & Continuous Improvement Forecast daily/weekly volume and assign labor accordingly. Identify workflow gaps and inefficiencies and implement improvements (slotting changes, pick-path optimization, replenishment logic, packaging updates, etc.). Ensure the site is achieving productivity targets and proactively raise flags when performance risks appear. Collaborate with the COO and leadership team to support network-wide improvements. 5. Client Communication & Onboarding Support Support onboarding for new clients coordinating inbound scheduling, storage setup, SKU slotting, packaging configuration, and workflow design. Work closely with client support teams to ensure all client needs are met and escalations are handled professionally. Represent the Concord site during client calls, walkthroughs, and Q&A sessions. 6. Cross-Functional Collaboration & Reporting Routinely communicate with the COO, finance, client support, and operations leadership teams to provide updates on performance, staffing, risks, and improvements. Ensure inbound/outbound supervisors are aligned daily and weekly with strategic goals. Provide reporting on KPIs, SLA adherence, and labor utilization. Who You Are 37+ years in a warehouse leadership role (preferably in a 3PL, eCommerce fulfillment, or high-volume logistics environment ). Strong supervisor and team leadership skills able to build structure and maintain accountability. Obsessed with organization, accuracy, and efficiency . Able to operate in a fast-growth, constantly evolving environment where responsibilities expand with the business. Data-oriented: comfortable monitoring KPIs, dashboards, and WMS data to make decisions. Confident communicator who can collaborate with internal teams and speak with clients professionally.
