What Youll Do The Packaging Project Associate will test and implement packaging that will be an integral part of the Product Development process. They will develop packaging formats and materials, in conjunction with Marketing and Product Development, review and improve existing packaging designs, implement cost savings ideas, and organize/implement the testing of packaging solutions for Jamieson Wellness Inc.Heres what you can expect in your role: (Perform fit tests on packaging components for all Jamieson Wellness facilitiesConfirm Dieline measurements for all artwork related components (labels, cartons, etc.) Ensure product compatibility with packaging materials (ie. Liquids vs. rubbers/plastics/liners)Assist in the costing of new products and packaging changes with machine and labour inputsComplete all change control documents associated with packaging specifications and machine/labourComplete Product Specifications for all new product launches to assist Sell Sheet creation and item set-up in ECCNet Working closely with multiple departments, including Production, Product Development, Research and Development, Stability, Marketing, and Supply Chain.Work in compliance with the companys Health and Safety Policies/SOPs including but not limited to the Safety Responsibilities Comply with Good Manufacturing Practices in all GMP sensitive areas of Jamieson Laboratories Ltd. facilities What You Bring You're a mix of curious, collaborative, and purpose-driven and ready to grow in a team that lives its values. Your experience and perspective might include: Post secondary education in business, science, or related fieldMinimum 1-3 years experience in a fast-paced pharmaceutical environment or similar GMP regulated environmentKnowledge of pharmaceutical packaging equipment and processes an asset. i.e., fillers, cappers, labelers, cartoners and bundlersComprehension of pharmaceutical manufacturing control and record keepingKnowledge of health, safety, and ergonomicsStrong communication skills, both written and verbalProficient with Microsoft Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build a relationship with a variety of different intercompany groups Note: If you dont meet every requirement listed here, we still encourage you to apply. For this role, the posting range is $38,990 $66,840, which reflects the full salary range of the position. The actual salary offered will be determined based on factors such as relevant experience, level of education, and other professional qualifications aligned with the requirements and complexity of this position.
