Pembina Hills School Division is now accepting applications for the position of Temporary Full Time Routing and Transportation Assistant. This position will be based in Barrhead, with 2 days per week spent in the Westlock Transportation office. The position will begin as soon as possible and will end April 30, 2026. Depending on Division need, this position has the possibility of extension and will be reviewed prior to the end date.The DivisionPembina Hills School Division provides education to approximately 3600 students in 11 community schools, 2 Colony Schools and 2 Outreach Schools. Pembina Hills School Division also provides education to approximately 10,000 students through our online school. Vista Virtual School. Our Division operates 64 bus routes, transporting around 3000 students daily. For more information on our Division please visit our website at Position Description: This position will work within the Transportation Services team to ensure the safe and efficient transportation of students to our Division schools by entering data into the Transportation routing program and preparing bus route information to our drivers. This position is 7.5 hours per day, Monday to Friday, 12 months per year. Qualifications:Able to exercise a high degree of confidentialityPosses excellent public relations and communication skillsAbility to handle detail with a high degree of accuracyProficient use of technology and software including Word and Excel.
