Join our team and help us keep communities connected. Your Opportunity Our Hamilton and London ON offices are actively seeking a Transportation Engineering Co-op student. Our group provides consulting services for Class Environmental Assessment, Preliminary Design, and Detail Design projects for public sector clients, including the Ministry of Transportation Ontario and several Ontario Southwest Regions and Municipalities. Your Key Responsibilities As a Transportation Engineering Co-op student/Intern in our London and Hamilton Transportation Groups, you will be involved in the planning and design of provincial highways, interchanges, and local municipal roads and assisting our structural engineering group with the inspection and design of bridges. You will be responsible for assisting in the following areas: Preparing engineering drawings and plans using industry standard drafting principles Documenting existing transportation and structural conditions based on interpretation of survey plans and field reconnaissance Identifying existing transportation and structural deficiencies based on current design standards Planning, preliminary design and detail design of transportation improvement projects Preparing content for reports and proposals Pay Transparency: In compliance with pay transparency laws, pay ranges are provided for positions in locations where required. Please note, the final agreed upon compensation is based on individual education, qualifications, experience, and work location. At Stantec certain roles are bonus eligible.Actual compensation for part-time roles will be pro-rated based on the agreed number of working hours per week.
