Location: Markham Note: This position requires work in-store as bubble tea barista and to be able to travel. Position Description Reporting to the CEO/Founder, the Training Manager is in charge of planning and executing training and development strategies and programs to motivate internal employees and help them achieve their potential and goals within the company. As the Training Manager, you will work closely with the Founder and Training Managers to implement training programs that are aligned with RFBTs operational standards, projected growth, and philosophy. Duties and Responsibilities Must work in-store as a cashier/barista, actively assisting in all areas of daily store operations. This includes hands-on participation in drink preparation, order taking, operating the POS system, and delivering exceptional customer service. Design the RFBT training program and supporting services, including identifying course content requirements, appropriate delivery mediums, and personnel to deliver training. Work closely with the Founder of RFBT to define training strategies and execution. Monitor employees to make sure they follow the training manual and SOPs. Create videos and content for SOPs. Effectively communicate with and manage a team of Training Managers and delegate tasks to execute the designed training program. Oversee the logistics and processes for ongoing training sessions, such as Senior Bartender Training. Implement the quality control and continual improvement processes to maintain training content and delivery mechanisms that represents RFBTs training standards. Provide strategic direction and solutions that help to further the training and development of RFBT management and frontline partners. Work collaboratively with business leads to ensure training programs and processes are aligned and relevant to RFBTs operations and future growth. Integrate RFBT values into designed training programs and content. Ensure that all training programs comply with provincial health and safety regulations/legislation. Evaluate training program effectiveness, conduct training data analysis and compile assessment reports for management reviews Expectations of a Successful Candidate 5+ years of experience in Restaurants (QSR) 5+ years of Training and Development or related experience preferred Proficient in video making and content creating Knowledge in CANVA and LMS is an asset Strong understanding of education principles with a familiarity in different training methodologies and delivery methods Proficient competency in implementing metrics to evaluate training progress Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills Familiar with traditional and modern training processes and trends Strong organizational and time management skills with a meticulous attention to detail Strong leadership skills Ability to think creatively to solve problems Strong proficiency in using Microsoft Office Knowledge and familiarity with the food industry strongly preferred Knowledge in Training video editing and SOPs French and/or Mandarin is an asset Salary Range: CAD 90K - 120K/Annum Were committed to being transparent and fair about pay. Final compensation is determined based on the responsibilities of the role, market data, internal equity, and several individual factors, including overall and relevant experience, education, certifications, skills, expertise, and the location of the position.
