This is a replacement position (not a new role). The successful candidate will serve as a strategic business partner to suppliers, distributors, and cross-functional teams across our system partners. You will deliver datadriven insights that support planning, allocation, forecasting, and inventory optimizationdirectly influencing sales, margins, and operational performance across the Canadian market.Key ResponsibilitiesEvaluate item performance and recommend reorders, consolidations, or return-to-vendor actionsForecast and recommend initial quantities and allocations for key itemsPartner with suppliers and internal teams on inventory planning, flow strategies, vendor capabilities, and contingency plansBuild and maintain store clusters to support optimal product allocationForecast product demand at distributor and supplier levels; reconcile with procurementDevelop buy plans and allocations for initial purchasesAct as a liaison with suppliers and distributors to resolve discrepanciesSupport cross-functional supply chain and brand initiativesLead planning for limited-time offers, material transitions, and new product launchesMonitor supplier and distributor inventory complianceIdentify risks or discrepancies and collaborate on corrective actionsMeet or exceed fill-rate KPI requirementsPrepare dashboards and insights for leadershipSupport franchisees with supply chain inquiriesConduct statistical analysis and build predictive modelsEnsure data integrity and recommend improvements to data collection methodsContribute to business plans for new projects and digital initiativesParticipate in data methodology discussions and best-practice developmentOther duties as assignedSkills & CompetenciesStrong project management and communication skillsExcellent analytical and problemsolving abilitiesExperience in inventory coordination and distribution (food industry preferred)Knowledge of supply base and quality assurance practices (asset)Experience with statistical analysis, data modeling, and reportingHigh attention to detailStrong relationship-building and collaboration skillsAbility to work well under pressureTeamoriented, flexible, and proactiveEducation & ExperienceCollege diploma or university degree in Business or related field (or equivalent experience)5+ years of supply chain experience, ideally in food manufacturing or food serviceWorking toward SCMP, APICS, CITT, or P.Log designationExperience with inventory management systemsProficiency in Word, Excel, and Power BIExperience with web metrics or performance analysis is an assetHow We HireAs part of our recruitment process, we use the LinkedIn Recruiter tool to identify and connect with qualified candidates.
