Waterjet Operator Were looking for an experienced Waterjet Operator to join our production team. This is a hands-on role for someone who takes pride in quality work, understands shop safety, and enjoys working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. Youll be responsible for operating waterjet cutting machines, handling materials safely, and ensuring finished products meet quality standards before delivery. What youll be doing: Set up, adjust, and operate waterjet cutting machines Read drawings, specifications, or follow verbal instructions to complete jobs accurately Load and unload materials using forklifts, overhead cranes, or other material-handling equipment (lifting up to 50 lbs may be required) Monitor cutting operations and remove finished parts as needed Inspect cut pieces for quality and prepare products for shipment Complete production paperwork and job documentation Package and secure orders, including building skids or boxes, strapping, and wrapping materials Support other machine operators and plant staff as required Operate forklifts, overhead cranes, and lift trucks (Raymond Reach, Combi) Maintain a clean, safe work area and follow all PPE and safety requirements Step into other roles and assist across the shop when needed What were looking for: Minimum 12 months of waterjet cutting experience Valid forklift license or at least 3 months of forklift experience (heavy material preferred) Experience operating overhead cranes is an asset Basic mechanical skills and ability to perform routine machine maintenance Strong communication skills and a customer-focused mindset Comfortable working in a fast-paced, small-team environment Reliable, motivated team player with a strong work ethic and attention to detail Ability to multitask, troubleshoot, and stay organized Disclosure: This job advertisement is for an existing vacancy and is not for general talent pooling or speculative recruitment.
