Our client is looking to hire a Property Administrator to join their team on a 3 month contract with potential for extension/ permanent. This position is full time in their Downtown Toronto Office. RESPONSIBILITIES: Provide administrative support to assigned team members, coordinating schedules, meetings, travel, and daytoday activities. Handle incoming calls, relay messages accurately, and provide general information as needed. Process Tenant Accounts Payable, including invoice entry in Nexus and maintaining Contract and Capex PO logs. Create purchase orders in Nexus from approved quotes or adjudication forms. Collect rent cheques, prepare bank deposits, and deliver deposits to the Bank of Montreal. Post cash receipts (cheques and EFTs) to tenant accounts in JDE. Create and send tenant chargeback invoices and manage all Accounts Receivable activities, including rent followups and tenant statements. Prepare and submit expense reports. Draft agreements, contracts, correspondence, reports, and presentations as required. Maintain organized manual and electronic filing systems and handle confidential documents with discretion. Manage office and kitchen supplies and coordinate internal/external mail and packages. Support special projects and provide general assistance across the team. Requirements Minimum two years of administrative experience in a professional office setting. Strong proficiency with JD Edwards. Excellent written communication and document preparation skills. Strong initiative, customer service mindset, professionalism, and diplomacy. Ability to interpret written/oral instructions and prioritize multiple tasks under deadlines. Strong analytical abilities to compare data, identify trends, and recommend solutions. Sound judgment and ability to make routine decisions independently. Advanced Microsoft Office skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint). Strong attention to detail, proofreading skills, and confidentiality. Effective teamwork and collaboration skills.
