Job Description Adamas is looking for human centered performance coaches who will lead the implementation of Adamas Performance Standards with pro esports teams. This individual will naturally build trusting, respectful relationships, to facilitate positive behavior change with our clients. You will work directly with and be supported by a Performance Director to progress teams towards achieving the Adamas performance standard. Job Type: Individual Contributor Location: Hybrid - split between remote and on-location, with our partnered esport teams To achieve this, we are seeking candidates who can accomplish the following. We dont expect coaches to be fully competent in all of these but these are the areas of priority and we work with all of our coaches through mentorship and professional development to build competency and confidence: Culture Development: Help teams build an environment of trust and accountability, remediating conflict in healthy ways, resulting in better team culture and performance. Improve Team Communication: Level up pro esport team communication, leading to clear, efficient, and psychologically safe teamwork in and out of competitive matches. Mental Skills Development: Develop mental resilience in players, enabling them to handle pressure, overcome setbacks, and maintain focus during high-stakes matches. Lifestyle and Wellness Support: Offer guidance on lifestyle management to ensure players optimize physical condition and energy levels. Individualized Player Development Plans: Develop and execute personalized performance training development plans to maximize each players potential. Tournament Preparation and Performance Optimization: Develop and implement match day performance strategies, including mental and physical readiness assessments to ensure the team is fully prepared to perform at their best. Continuous Improvement and Feedback Loop: Foster a culture of continuous improvement by providing constructive feedback, monitoring progress, and adjusting strategies as necessary to ensure growth in team performance. Bootcamp Preparation and Execution: Plan and facilitate team training camps, focused on developing and practicing performance training, and, supporting our partnered teams in implementing performance training during in-game practice. Minimum Qualifications: Undergraduate Degree in a Coaching related subject (e.g. Leadership, Sports Coaching, Sports Science) Can demonstrate the ability to coach athletes/gamers to positive performance and behavior change Proven results facilitating mental skills training in high performance Successful in working with individuals from different backgrounds work together and develop group cohesion High developed emotional intelligence How You Can Stand Out: Bilingual: Esports is global. Teams recruit players from around the world to form the best teams. As such, performance coaches who are bilingual and familiar with cultural differences are in demand.
