As Accounts Payable Specialist, you are responsible for upholding BaAMs high standards for accuracy and accountability by managing critical financial functions that support our operations and project delivery. This role helps ensure BaAMs financial integrity, regulatory compliance, and operational excellence.This is an opportunity to bring your financial acumen and professionalism to a dynamic business environment and grow within a collaborative team. If you are a proactive problem solver with a strong sense of ownership and a passion for process integrity, we would love to hear from you.MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIESProcessing vendor invoices and purchase ordersReviewing and verifying expenses for policy complianceReconciling corporate credit card transactions and maintaining account accuracyCommunicating with vendors and managing Accounts Payable inboxAssisting with weekly payment cycles and cash flow reportingSupporting month end closing and preparing reports for internal stakeholdersCollaborating with internal departments to validate and approve financial dataOther duties as assignedYOUR QUALIFICATIONSDiploma or degree in Accounting, Finance, or BusinessMinimum of three years of accounts payable experienceProficiency in NetSuite, Microsoft Excel, and SmartsheetStrong communication, organizational, and time management skillsAbility to work independently and handle sensitive information professionallyPrevious experience in a project-based or multi-currency environment is considered an assetCompensationIn compliance with Ontarios Pay Transparency requirements, the expected salary range for this position is $60,000 to $65,000 CAD per year, based on skills, experience, and qualifications.
