Location: Downtown Toronto, ON (On-site)Language: English required, strong written and verbal communicationDuration: 12 monthsHours of Work: Rotational schedule, 5 days per week between Monday and Sunday, hours scheduled between 7:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m., including the ability to work statutory holidays as requiredAbout the OpportunityThis is an opportunity to step into a senior administrative role that plays a critical role in delivering high-quality patient care within a specialized healthcare setting. As the first point of contact, you will help ensure the clinic operates efficiently while creating a welcoming, professional, and compassionate experience for every patient.Working closely with physicians, clinicians, and administrative colleagues, you will bring structure, calm, and reliability to a fast-paced medical environment. It is a workplace that values accountability, empathy, and a strong sense of shared purpose.Your ResponsibilitiesYoull manage front-desk reception, greeting patients, visitors, and suppliers with professionalism and care.In this role, youll answer and direct incoming phone calls, respond to general inquiries, and ensure urgent matters are addressed promptly.Youll coordinate patient appointments, confirmations, referrals, and counseling bookings.Youll enter new patients into clinical systems and assemble and maintain accurate patient charts.Youll support daily clinical operations by preparing sign-up sheets, procedure labels, and sorting lab reports.Youll handle administrative workflows including mail, faxes, courier deliveries, billing, and office supply inventory.Youll participate in training new staff and contribute to a supportive team environment.Skills and Qualifications5 to 7 years of experience in a medical office or healthcare administrative setting.Post-secondary education in administration, business, or office management is considered an asset.Strong administrative, organizational, and basic computer skills.Excellent verbal and written communication skills.Proven ability to multitask, assess urgency, and remain calm under pressure.A self-directed, compassionate professional who works well in a team-based environment.Note from the Hiring ManagerWere looking for someone who brings experience, compassion, and reliability to their work, someone who understands how strong administration supports both patient care and the team as a whole.Why Partner with AltisIf youve never worked with a staffing agency before, we make it easy.
