As a key driver of the Group growth strategy, we're focussed on a multi-year transformation of our home-buying and home-owning proposition and journey. Our ambition is to deepen relationships and help our customers at every stage.You'll join us as a Product Manager within the Homes Intermediary Proposition team. This is a high-profile team, focussed on understanding the needs of customers and brokers to develop new ways to help customers buy their first and subsequent homes. We deliver across multiple brands including Halifax and Lloyds Bank.This team focusses on proposition, policy and criteria changes that help more customers buy their first home sooner and drives growth in our mortgage business. We have made significant progress in recent years, but in a fast moving regulatory and competitive environment we need to continue to innovate at pace to remain the UKs number one lender for first time buyers.We're looking for a passionate, driven and capable manager to join the team to develop products, propositions and seek opportunities that support customers and Help Britain Prosper.The role will involve collaborating closely with team across Homes, Intermediaries, Credit Risk, Finance, Group Corporate Affairs, Marketing and Platform teams to coordinate a wide range of lending growth initiatives.**Key Accountabilities:*** Developing and launching new products and propositions to support First Time Buyers purchase their first home sooner.* Identification of gaps in the market or segments where LBG are not currently achieving natural market share, through analysis of internal and external market data.* Responding to a fast-moving regulatory environment and identifying opportunities to mobilise response to changes as pace.* Identification and management of risks associated with mortgage products and propositions, e.g. Consumer Duty risk and Customer Fair Value Risk* Working collaboratively with a broad range of collaborators across the Group, to identify requirements and collaborate to achieve Homes strategic ambitions* Building and delivering compelling storyboards to provide leaders with insight and influence prioritisation.**Essential Skills*** **Product & Proposition Development** Proven experience delivering endtoend products or propositions into the external market.* **Strategic Thinking** Ability to develop strategy, turn insight into plans, and execute them effectively.* **Analytical Capability** Comfortable working with data, market insight and analytical tools to form evidencebased conclusions and recommendations.* **Communication Excellence** Able to create clear, concise storyboards for senior audiences and articulate complex concepts simply.* **Stakeholder Management** Skilled at influencing, collaborating and navigating diverse teams to deliver outcomes.* **Customer & Market Insight** Strong motivation to build deep customer and broker understanding to shape innovative propositions.* **Proactive & Curious Mindset** A selfstarter who brings energy, curiosity and a drive to push forward change.**Desirable Skills*** Experience working on **FirstTime Buyer** propositions or wider mortgage lending initiatives.* Understanding of **mortgage policy, criteria or regulatory** change.* Exposure to **intermediary/broker relationships** or intermediaryled distribution models.* Experience building **leadershipready presentations** that influence prioritisation and decisionmaking**About working for us**Our ambition is to be the leading UK business for diversity, equity and inclusion, supporting our customers, colleagues, and communities, and were committed to creating an environment in which everyone can thrive, learn and develop.We were one of the first major organisations to set goals on diversity in senior roles, create a menopause health package, and a dedicated Working with Cancer Initiative.We offer reasonable workplace adjustments for colleagues with disabilities, including flexibility in office attendance, location and working patterns.
