This is a Hybrid position based on Vancouver Island, with the successful candidate being located between Victoria and Comox. WHY HIGHSTREET? The role involves acting as a well-rounded generalist who can jump in and assist on a variety of different support services. The main component is supporting leasing in our operating communities and managing our warranty in our for-sale communities. This position will report to our Communities Services Manager. The Communities Services Specialist (CSS) works amongst a team of CSS. Each CSS is responsible for a specific region and communities, but collaboration and support amongst the team is expected. Specific duties include, but are not limited to, the following: Responding to email and phone call inquiries for our rental communities Supporting prospective Community Members through our leasing process and setting them up for viewings with our on-site teams Reviewing market trends and making pricing recommendations for our rental communities Managing our warranty process and working with Highstreet Homeowners to get their issues resolved. Working with trade partners in resolving warranty requests Scheduling appointments with homeowners Supporting the opening of new communities through deficiency inspections, move-in, or other hands-on support. Communities Services Specialist, Vancouver Island (Hybrid) Leasing and Support for Aspen View (Comox), Wembley (Parksville), & Horizon (Langford) Warranty Support and on-site visits/investigations for Sky Gate & City Gate (Langford), Mosaic (Parksville), Lakeview Terrace (Nanaimo), Aurora (Comox) Travel up and down the island is expected therefore Valid Class 5 driver''s license and reliable transportation is required Attendance at Island based communities for lease-up support (rental), deficiency inspections, homeowner welcomes, warranty inspections (for-sale) and building handover is expected. Other regional support and service as required. In addition to identifying with Highstreet''s values, the candidate should also: High attention to detail and eagerness to do things the right way Communicate openly and ethically with a positive attitude Thrive working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with competing priorities Be a team player, be self-motivated, and efficient Assertiveness, follow through, and organizational skills with respect to paperwork is essential Be a self-starter who requires little direction while keeping a strong desire to do the right thing Possessing a can-do attitude to a variety of tasks and difficult situations REQUIRED EXPERIENCE Strong customer service background Technically savvy, and proficiency with MS Office Suite Familiarity with property management and CRM software a bonus (Yardi/Salesforce), not required Experience and ability to deliver outstanding customer service over the phone and via email Knowledge of the Residential Tenancy Act, not required, but an asset Compensation Package: Annual Salary: $70,000-$90,000 dependent on experience Annual Bonus: Highstreet pays an annual bonus based on company performance. A typical bonus for this position is approximately 14% of annual salary. Determined annually, the bonus could be more or less depending on performance results. Investment Opportunity: Highstreet encourages all employees to share in our success by offering the opportunity to invest in the projects we build and operate. To encourage employee investment, Highstreet matches employee investment at 50%, up to 20% of annual salary (i.e. for every $1 invested by the employee, Highstreet invests $0.50 on the employee''s behalf). The investments are TFSA and RRSP eligible. Additional requirements: Valid Class 5 Driver''s Licence (BC) Be available for travel, as required. Satisfactory criminal and credit record check.
