The Johnson Shoyama Graduate School of Public Policy invites applications for Sessional Lecturers to teach courses as outlined below. Spring/Summer Session Course Number, Section, and Name: JSGS 807.3 Statistics for Public Managers, sec 01 Term and Course Dates: May 4 to June 19, 2026 CRN: 42085 Delivery Mode: In person Course Schedule: Mondays and Wednesdays, 5:00 to 8:00 pm Expected Enrollment Limit: 30-35 Location: Saskatoon Qualifications: Minimum of a Master''s degree in economics, public policy, public administration, finance, accounting, or a related discipline is required; PhD degree preferred. Familiarity with the MPA competencies is required. Work experience in the public sector is strongly preferred. Experience teaching in a post-secondary setting, ideally at the graduate level, will be considered a strong asset. Significant practical experience in a social economy organization is required. Experience teaching in a post-secondary setting, ideally at the graduate level, will be considered a strong asset. Course Number, Section, and Name: JSGS 892.3 MPA Capstone Class, sec 01 Term and Course Dates: May 4 to June 19, 2026 CRN: 42091 Delivery Mode: In person Course Schedule: Fridays, 9:00 am to 4:00 pm Expected Enrollment Limit: 25-30 Location: Saskatoon Qualifications: Minimum of a Master''s degree a PhD degree is preferred in public administration, public policy, or a related discipline. Familiarity with the MPA competencies is required. Experience working in the public sector is preferred. Previous teaching experience, particularly at the graduate level, would be considered an asset. Course Number, Section, and Name: JSGS 892.3 MPA Capstone Class, sec W02 Term and Course Dates: May 4 to June 19, 2026 CRN: 42240 Delivery Mode: In person (for online MPA program) Course Schedule: Class dates April 20 to May 11, in-person residency April 27 to May Monday 3:00-7:00 pm, Tuesday to Thursday 9:00 am to 5:00 pm, Friday 9:00 am to 1:00 pm) Expected Enrollment Limit: 25-30 Location: Saskatoon Qualifications: Minimum of a Master''s degree a PhD degree is preferred in public administration, public policy, or a related discipline. Familiarity with the MPA competencies is required. Experience working in the public sector is preferred. Previous teaching experience, particularly at the graduate level, would be considered an asset. A valid driver''s license is required for any off-campus courses. Appointment periods include additional days in recognition of preparation and marking time required. Courses may be cancelled due to low enrolment.
