In this role, you support the daily operations of Mikisew Cree First Nation by ensuring that all administrative and communal spacesincluding the Mikisew Trade Centre (Blue Shop), Finance Trailer, and Chief and Council Chambersare wellmaintained and welcoming. ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Maintain cleanliness and organization in the Mikisew Trade Centre (Blue Shop) office area, Finance Trailer, and Chief and Council Chambers. Sweep, mop, vacuum, and dust offices, hallways, and common areas. Clean and disinfect sinks, countertops, desks, chairs, filing cabinets, and other hightouch surfaces. Clean all glass, mirrors, and interior and exterior windows. Spotclean doors, walls, and light switch covers. Dust blinds, windowsills, ledges, bookshelves, and other surfaces. Wipe and polish boardroom tables and align chairs appropriately. Empty all garbage and recycling bins and dispose of waste safely. Wash and dry coffee cups and other shared kitchen supplies. Clean fridges, microwaves, and other commonuse appliances as needed. Clean and disinfect all washroom areas; restock soap, toilet paper, and hand towels. Maintain sanitary washroom conditions at all times. Ensure proper storage and safe use of cleaning supplies and equipment. Report maintenance issues or repair needs promptly to the supervisor. Assist with minor setup, organization, or cleaningrelated tasks as requested by management. Complete assigned tasks within scheduled work hours with consistency and reliability. Perform all other duties as assigned. EDUCATIONAL AND EXPERIENCE: Experience as a custodian, janitor, or in a similar cleaning or maintenance role. Knowledge of industrial cleaning equipment and proper operation. Understanding of safe handling and disposal of chemicals and hazardous materials. Strong attention to detail and conscientious work habits. Ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods. High school diploma preferred but not required. Other Requirements: Willingness to submit to and comply with an oath of confidentiality.
