This role is ideal for an experienced driver who is comfortable operating automated sideload trucks in residential and commercial environments. The successful candidate will be responsible for efficient route completion, safe vehicle operation, and maintaining high service standards while working in physically demanding conditions. Key Responsibilities: Safely operate a Class 3 sideload collection truck on assigned residential and commercial routes. Collect waste and recycling containers using automated sideload equipment. Navigate tight spaces, alleyways, cul-de-sacs, and high-traffic areas with precision. Perform accurate backing and positioning maneuvers as required. Complete daily pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and compliance. Report mechanical issues, route concerns, site hazards, or service delays to operations. Use app-based routing and reporting tools for navigation and job documentation. Maintain cleanliness of the truck and surrounding customer areas. Assist with yard duties, shop support, or overflow routes when required. Follow all company safety policies, procedures, and provincial regulations. Perform other related duties as assigned. Qualifications: Valid Class 3 driver''s license with Q (airbrake) endorsement. Minimum of 3 years of commercial driving experience in Class 3 vehicles, specifically in multi-stop routes. Clean commercial driver''s abstract. Strong physical ability to push, pull, lift, and carry up to 75 lbs.
