Job Description Our long-standing client in Halifax is seeking a detail-oriented Accounting Clerk to provide temporary support to their team. This contract role has an immediate start and offers flexibility: the successful candidate can work in-office in downtown Halifax, on a hybrid schedule, or fully remote. This opportunity is ideal for someone with hands-on experience in accounts payable and accounts receivable. Key Responsibilities for the Job: Process and manage accounts payable Process accounts receivable transactions Maintain accurate financial records, including data entry and reconciliation Assist with month-end closing and reporting as needed Support the accounting team with general clerical and administrative tasks Experience & Attributes for Success: Proven skills and experience in AP/AR or general accounting support Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel Strong attention to detail and accuracy Able to work independently, manage priorities, and meet deadlines Professional communication skills and a proactive approach If interested in this opportunity, please apply online by clicking the Apply Now button.
