What You''ll Do You''ll lead our caretaking team and maintain the facility with excellence by: Overseeing and performing daily cleaning, sanitization, and facility upkeep Leading deep cleaning and floor refinishing during school breaks Operating equipment such as snow blowers and tractors for timely snow removal Creating and managing staff schedules to ensure seamless coverage Developing cleaning routines that keep the building in top condition Organizing maintenance projects during non-instructional periods Handling minor maintenance tasks and troubleshooting equipment Upholding and promoting strong health & safety practices across the school What You Bring Education & Certifications Minimum Grade 12 Current WHMIS certification Working knowledge of: o Cleaning processes, products, and equipment o Building maintenance procedures o Industry-standard cleaning practices Skills & Abilities Strong leadership and team management abilities Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work independently with minimal supervision Positive, professional attitude with strong attention to detail Ability to follow written and verbal instructions Comfortable operating maintenance equipment and performing basic repairs Position Details Full-time, Monday to Friday Wage: $22.27$29.13 per hour + maintenance allowance Comprehensive benefits package, including a matched pension plan RCMP Criminal Record / Vulnerable Sector Check required How to Apply If you''re ready to contribute to a school community that values excellence, teamwork, and student wellbeing, we would love to hear from you.
