Flexo Products Order Desk/Customer Service Position Overview This position acts as a point of contact for customers and suppliers. Duties will include the following; generating customer quotes, processing customer purchase orders, effectively handling inbound and outbound customer calls related to ordering product and shipping arrangements. As well as; support of the sales team by building and maintaining relationships with existing customers. Integrity, vision, professionalism and the passion to meet client demands are key components of this position. Good computer skills are an absolute must. You will also focus on maintaining a high degree of customer support and satisfaction as well as developing a strong knowledge of company products and applications. Key Competencies: Attention to detail and strong organizational skills as well as an ability to juggle priorities. Strong customer service skills that strive to exceed customer expectations. Deal effectively and professionally with issues that arise due to out of stock, production delays, etc. Ability to work well in a team environment & demonstrate respect for coworkers. Make outbound calls to ensure purchase orders are processed. Make outbound calls to promote products that are on special or new. Ability to learn product details and effectively communicate the product information to customers. Strong MS Office Computer Skills Ability to think one step ahead Good math skills (weights, pricing etc) Strong communication skills at all levels; on the phone, email and in person. Sound problem solving abilities Proficient in English; reading, writing and speaking French would be an asset but not required Knowledge in the following areas is beneficial: Quotation processes Order processes Sample order processes Purchasing processes Production processes Customer satisfaction and returned goods process Job Type: Full-time Job Location: Niagara Falls, ON Required education: High school or equivalent Job Type: Full-time Pay: $17.20-$25.00 per hour Expected hours: 40 per week Work Location: In person
