Position Summary We are seeking an experienced Fleet & Maintenance Supervisor with a heavy-duty mechanical background to manage and maintain our commercial truck fleet. This role is perfect for a seasoned mechanic who wants to step into a leadership position, take on more variety, and still work hands-on with vehicles. You will oversee fleet operations, mentor drivers, and maintain the fleet by performing or coordinating repairs and maintenance, from routine service to troubleshooting issues that don''t require major projects. Key Responsibilities Lead and manage daily commercial truck operations, ensuring safe, timely, and efficient deliveries Conduct routine inspections, preventative maintenance, and mechanical repairs on fleet vehicles Troubleshoot and resolve mechanical issues in-house whenever possible, escalating only major projects to outside vendors Mentor and guide drivers on safe driving practices, operational procedures, and vehicle care Maintain accurate records of vehicle usage, inspections, repairs, and regulatory compliance Collaborate with dispatch and operations teams to optimize routes, schedules, and fleet performance Identify opportunities to improve fleet reliability, efficiency, and safety What Success Looks Like Fleet is consistently safe, well-maintained, and operational Preventative maintenance minimizes breakdowns and downtime Drivers are supported, trained, and adhere to safety protocols Mechanical issues are addressed promptly and effectively without unnecessary outside repairs Delivery operations run smoothly, efficiently, and on schedule Qualifications Class 1 driver''s license (mandatory) Extensive heavy-duty mechanical experience, preferably with commercial vehicles Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills Leadership or supervisory experience preferred Excellent organizational and communication skills Commitment to safety and regulatory compliance Ability to balance hands-on mechanical work with managerial responsibilities Why CLS Landscape Supply Competitive pay Variety in your workday - leadership, operations, and hands-on mechanical challenges Supportive, team-oriented environment Career growth opportunities within a growing company Work for a company that values safety, reliability, and operational excellence How to Apply If you have the mechanical expertise, leadership skills, and operational focus to excel in this role, we want to hear from you Apply today with your resume and cover letter.
