The Lung Association of Nova Scotia and Prince Edward Island is a charitable health organization dedicated to improving quality of life by preventing and managing lung disease through advocacy, patient services, education & research. With over 100 years of service to the community, we continue to directly help people who live with lung disease. LungNSPEI is seeking a Manager of Donor Database & Office Administration. This position will report to Fund Development Director and Sr. Manager of Finance and will focus on enhancing donor relations and utilizing the database to strengthen fund development. It will also be responsible to ensure that the day-to-day office duties are effectively executed. This multifaceted position will collaborate closely with many members of the LungNSPEI team. Duties: As Manager of Donor Relations, Database Management & Administration you will have a dual functioning role. The successful candidate will lead administrative duties for LungNSPEI, as well as lead and support vital Fund Development activities. Main duties will include (but are not limited to): Donor Stewardship & Database Management - Maintain and manage all client/donor/funder records in Donor Perfect, ensuring accurate and current records for each constituent (annual database maintenance). - Manage online giving and implementation / creation of ongoing donor communication channels. - Create detailed reports as required for specific groups of donors/clients/funders. - Assist in internal outreach to donors such as in-house mailings and appreciation efforts. - Implement donor stewardship activities such as personal thank you calls, emails and fulfillment donor driven requests. - Compile data for direct mail campaigns and contribute to direct mail content. - Prepare receipts and thank you letters for all direct mail campaigns, monthly donors and general donations. Administration Assists in the Sleep Apnea Refurbishment Program, which includes participant intake and inquiries, managing waitlist, distribution of machines, etc. - Coordinates the Links Fore Lungs Golf Book - Provides high-quality customer service at reception, including answering phones, greeting visitors, etc. - Provides administrative support for the management and different committees - Oversees and maintains the inventory of office supplies, ensuring that all office equipment is in good working order Required Skill Set: Experienced in all aspects of managing and the functional day to day use of Donor Perfect (or other applicable donor database, i.e. Raisers Edge). Excellent communication skills both verbal and written. Keen attention to detail and goal orientated. Superior interpersonal skills and eagerness to learn. Highly organized with ability to adhere to tight timelines. Exceptional commitment to our donors and clients ensuring a top-notch and value add experience with LungNSPEI. Desire to help in other areas fund development as needed (i.e. special events) and desire to support other program and service areas when required.
