Duties Develop and implement engaging lesson plans aligned with curriculum standards as per Ministry Of Education in Ontario Deliver instruction in Math and other subject areas, adapting methods to meet diverse student needs Assess student progress through assignments, tests, and projects, providing constructive feedback Foster a positive classroom environment that encourages student participation and collaboration Incorporate tutoring sessions to support individual student learning needs Manage classroom behavior to maintain a safe and respectful learning space Collaborate with colleagues, parents, and administrators to support student success Integrate laboratory experiences when applicable to enhance practical understanding of scientific concepts Support students with special education needs by adapting instructional strategies accordingly Requirements Bachelor''s degree in Education, Mathematics, or related field; teaching certification preferred Prior classroom experience working with high school students Strong knowledge of Math curriculum and teaching methodologies Experience or training in special education is advantageous Laboratory experience is a plus for science-related subjects Excellent communication skills to effectively engage students, parents, and staff Ability to tutor students individually or in small groups to reinforce learning concepts Demonstrated ability to create an inclusive and supportive classroom environment Passion for education and commitment to fostering student development Job Types: Full-time, Part-time Pay: $25.00-$40.00 per hour Work Location: In person
