Job Overview We are seeking a friendly and efficient Barista to join our team. Responsibilities Prepare and serve a variety of coffee beverages, teas, and other drinks following company recipes and standards Operate POS systems, including Micros POS, for order processing and cash handling Take customer orders accurately and efficiently while providing friendly service Handle cash transactions, process payments, and give correct change using basic math skills Maintain cleanliness of the work area, including food preparation stations and dining spaces Follow food safety procedures and proper food handling protocols at all times Assist with food preparation and serving light food items as needed Manage time effectively to serve customers promptly during busy periods Uphold high standards of customer service to ensure a positive experience for all guests Skills Proven experience as a Barista or in the food service industry is preferred Strong knowledge of POS systems, especially Micros POS, for efficient transactions Excellent customer service skills with a friendly attitude Ability to handle cash accurately and perform basic math calculations quickly Good time management skills to prioritize tasks during peak hours Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling procedures Experience with serving, food preparation, and cashiering is advantageous Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail This position offers an engaging work environment where your skills in food service, customer interaction, and multitasking will be valued.
