Overview We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Restaurant General Manager to lead our team and oversee daily operations at our busy restaurant. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, extensive restaurant management experience, and a passion for delivering exceptional customer service. This role requires a comprehensive understanding of food industry standards, food safety, and team supervision to ensure smooth and profitable restaurant performance. Prior hotel or hospitality experience, as well as barista or food handling expertise, are considered valuable assets. Duties Manage all aspects of restaurant operations, including staff scheduling, inventory control, and financial performance Supervise and motivate team members to ensure high standards of food quality, customer service, and cleanliness Oversee food preparation and cooking processes to maintain consistency and quality standards Handle cash transactions accurately using Micros POS systems and manage cash handling procedures Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and proper food handling practices Interview, hire, train, and evaluate staff to build a competent and motivated team Maintain excellent customer service standards by addressing guest concerns promptly and professionally Oversee restaurant cleanliness, safety protocols, and sanitation procedures Collaborate with kitchen staff to optimize workflow and efficiency in food production Monitor restaurant performance metrics and implement strategies for continuous improvement Skills Proven experience in restaurant management with supervising responsibilities Strong knowledge of food preparation, cooking techniques, and food safety standards Proficiency with POS systems such as Micros POS; cash handling expertise required Excellent leadership skills with the ability to manage teams effectively in a fast-paced environment Exceptional customer service skills with a focus on hospitality excellence Experience in food industry roles including food service, serving, or kitchen work; hotel or barista experience is a plus Ability to interview candidates and make hiring decisions aligned with company standards Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize effectively Knowledge of restaurant management best practices within the hospitality sector Join our team as a Restaurant General Manager where your leadership will drive success while providing memorable dining experiences for our guests.
