Position Overview: We are seeking a commercially minded Senior Accountant to serve as a strategic partner to our executive leadership and oversee the fiscal integrity of our diverse entertainment business. This role is responsible for the financial health of our talent representation agency while managing the complex project accounting and settlements for our live event and venue ventures. The ideal candidate understands the ''flow of business'' from a practical perspective and can translate high-level operations into accurate financial strategy. You will be the primary point of contact for our banking partners and external auditors, and you will report directly to the Management. This is a role for a finance leader who is exceptionally proficient in systems and Excel, and who excels at providing clear, actionable insights to top management. Key Responsibilities: Financial Reporting & Management: Oversee the month-end and year-end close process end to end. Provide the CEO and ownership with clear, accurate reporting that highlights cash flow, overhead, and project-based profitability. Systems & Process Oversight: Act as the internal lead for our accounting systems including Microsoft Dynamics. Ensure our systems are efficient, our data is clean, well structured and reliable. Build and maintain sophisticated, automated Excel models that reduce manual work and improve insight. External Relations: Serve as the primary point of contact for external auditors (Review Engagements), banking partners (Covenant compliance and LOC management), and tax authorities. Commercial Strategy: Evaluate new business ventures from a practical operational perspective. Identify cash flow implications, execution risks, and financial considerations before projects launch. Team Management: Provide guidance and oversight to the accounting team to ensure payroll, remittances, and settlements are processed with 100% accuracy and on time. Qualifications: Experience: 35 years in a senior finance role, ideally within a service-oriented or project-based industry. Designation: A CPA or CA is preferred, but we value verified professional experience and a ''common sense'' approach to business finance above all else. Advanced Systems Skills: Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel is required Strong understanding of ERP systems and how financial data flows across an organization If you instinctively look for ways to eliminate manual data entry and improve automation, you''ll thrive in this role.
