The Creative Design Technologist plays a critical role in translating creative design concepts into clear, complete, and fabrication-ready documentation and 3D models. Reporting to the Manager of Creative Studio, this entry-level role works closely with ride design, engineering, and manufacturing teams to ensure creative concepts are practical, manufacturable, and fully documented for ordering and fabrication. This position is ideal for a recent graduate with strong technical aptitude, a high level of organization, and the drive to improve processes and workflows within a fast-paced production environment. Number of vacancies for this role: 1 YOUR CHALLENGE: Support creative designers by developing 3D models and assemblies that reflect design intent while meeting manufacturing constraints Translate concepts into clear, accurate, and fabrication-ready technical documentation Coordinate with manufacturing and engineering teams to validate that designs are feasible, manufacturable, and aligned with production capabilities Prepare complete drawing packages and supporting documentation required for ordering, fabrication, and production Ensure drawings and documentation meet internal standards for clarity, accuracy, and completeness Track project schedules and manage documentation deliverables to meet tight production timelines Work within high-pressure, deadline-driven project environments while maintaining accuracy and quality Support design-for-manufacturing (DFM) reviews and incorporate feedback from internal stakeholders Create, modify, and maintain 3D models using SolidWorks and AutoCAD to support design development and fabrication documentation Identify opportunities to improve documentation standards, workflows, and internal processes Communicate clearly with cross-functional teams to resolve technical questions and close information gaps Support the Creative Studio team with technical coordination and documentation as required WHAT YOU BRING TO THE ROLE: Recent graduate or junior-level candidate with a diploma or degree in Manufacturing Technology, Industrial Design, or a related technical discipline Foundational proficiency in SolidWorks, with the ability to produce clear technical drawings and 3D models Basic understanding of manufacturing processes and design-for-manufacturing (DFM) principles Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple documentation deliverables in parallel Demonstrated ability to work under tight timelines and shifting priorities High attention to detail with a strong commitment to drawing accuracy and completeness Comfortable coordinating with multiple internal teams (ride design, engineering, manufacturing) Strong written and verbal communication skills in English Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and the broader Microsoft Office suite Interest in process improvement and a willingness to apply new ideas to improve documentation workflows Self-motivated, dependable, and eager to learn in a fast-paced production environment Co-op, internship, or academic project experience in a manufacturing or technical design environment is considered an asset COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS: Salary range: $56,000 - $80,000 3 weeks paid vacation Company-paid extended health and dental benefits Annual Wellness Wallet Incentive eligibility RRSP matching (after 1 year of service) Free parking ProSlide does not use artificial intelligence (AI) to screen, assess, or select applicants.
