SuspensionWerx is a performance suspension service centre located minutes from the superb trail networks of North Vancouver, British Columbia. We specialize in servicing high performance mountain bike suspension products from Ohlins, DVO, FOX, Cane Creek, PUSH Industries, MRP, EXT, and X-Fusion in addition to our Powersports department. We are looking to add one full-time bicycle suspension to our team starting ASAP. Working hours are 9am-5pm Monday-Friday (with paid lunch) so no weekend work unless we have an event you want to work at Position overview; Complete tear down and rebuild of bicycle suspension of brands we work with. Clean and inspect all internal and external assemblies for wear or damage. Speak to front counter if any parts outside of original estimate are required. Rebuild suspension to our standards. Detail orientated completing job sheets Maintain a clean and organized work bench. Work on front counter as needed, dealing with customers, checking in/out suspension and processing payments. Requirements; Currently working in either in a Suspension Centre or a Minimum 2 years as a bicycle mechanic Good communication skills to explain in detail mechanical problems with product. Above average computer skills. Ability to use data base for part searches. Ability to read technical drawings, TSB''s / engineering documents. Understand and execute detailed instructions given by Supervisor. Fast learner as suspension technology constantly changes. We are willing to train the right candidate.
