Job Description: As a Material Handler, you will primarily be responsible for maintaining the smooth flow of material around the plant and ensuring material is available for production as needed. Tasks/Responsibilities Pick and put away material from the warehouse using hand and powered handling equipment. Maintaining the flow of materials being used in production. Load and unload materials in accordance with scheduling needs. Completing relevant documentation. Operation of a variety of production equipment. Work as part of the team to ensure part quality. Manage the processing of scrap material. Perform other tasks as requested by the shift leader. Comply with safe work practices. Skills Physical fitness and the ability to be on your feet for extended periods of time. Excellent interpersonal skills. Excellent time management and multi-tasking skills. Possess a high level of organization and attention to detail. Ability to problem solve. Qualifications High school diploma. Ability to speak, read and write in English. Basic math skills. Ability to work in afternoon or night. Experience with production or warehouse equipment is an asset.
