The Position We''re looking for an Underwriting Assistant Personal Lines to join our team In this role, you''ll support our Personal Lines Underwriting team and play a key part in delivering exceptional service to policyholders, brokers, agents, and other stakeholders. If you thrive in a fast-paced setting, enjoy helping others, and take pride in providing outstanding customer service, this could be the perfect opportunity for you Responsibilities Process policy changes submitted to the Personal Lines Underwriting team by brokers and agents in the policy administration system Respond to phone and email inquiries using information within the policy administration system Prepare a variety of client communication, including emails, letters, and policy documents Deliver exceptional customer service to policyholders and accept/process payments as needed Build insurance knowledge by reviewing risks, policy wordings, policy documents, and company underwriting guidelines Support additional administrative tasks, underwriting projects, and ad hoc requests as required Qualifications Previous customer service experience Strong verbal and written communication skills Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications Bilingualism (French and English) is an asset, but not required General insurance knowledge and/or CIP designation are considered assets, but not required What We Offer As part of our amazing team, you will be inspired to be and do your best every day.
