As a Customs House Brokerage Delivery Associate, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth and compliant movement of import shipments through Customs. This position is responsible for supporting clients, carriers, and government agencies throughout the customs clearance process while maintaining exceptional service and accuracy. You will manage documentation, facilitate communication, troubleshoot release issues, and uphold regulatory compliance standards to ensure timely delivery and a seamless customer experience. Responsibilities: Maintain and develop first class client relations with the clients via phone and email regarding order shipments, discrepancies, billing, deliveries, etc. Establish the priority on shipments to be processed Accurately prepare and process customs documentation for release and final accounting Communicate with clients, carriers, freight forwarders, and CBSA officers to facilitate smooth customs clearance Process CAD entries, ensuring compliance with company policies and Canada Customs regulations. Correct Canada Customs rejected entries. Liaise with importer and CBSA to arrange and facilitate required documentation during customs examinations. Complete and close files in a timely and accurate manner, in line with company and customs policies. Manage track and trace shipment status, monitor shipment statuses, and proactively resolve delays or issues. Communicate with CBSA and other PGAs to resolve any release issues or inquire about the status of entry. Support the team by taking on additional duties as required. Requirements: Support the team by taking on additional duties as required. 3-5 years+ experience in Customs Brokerage Must have valid and current CCS Understands and can utilize the Customs tariff Experience with Cargowise (CW1) preferred but not mandatory Must know the basics of EXCEL, Word, Powerpoint, etc. Excellent communication skills both written and verbal.
