As a Media Planning Director , you will be responsible for leading your direct and supporting team members across all media channels, to deliver on client media & business objectives. We are looking for an exceptional individual who has a proven ability to develop strong senior-level client relationships and to manage the client relationship from a strategic planning standpoint. The agency benefits from your thought leadership and contributions to developing talent. Transparency matters to us. For this role, you can expect a salary between $96,000- $120,000 annually, depending on experience. This is for an existing vacancy. Responsibilities Develop & maintain excellent working relationships with senior-level clients, and internal & external agency partners. Manage client accounts confidently and with autonomy. Succeed in maintaining industry-leading client satisfaction scores. Plan, direct, supervise, and coordinate work activities of teams and handle all personnel requirements for immediate staff including training and development. Be responsible for financial oversight of client budgets, managing client revenues and unearthing opportunities for organic growth. Ensure best practices are used across the department, and that value-add insights are delivered to clients across all stages of projects. Contribute to thought leadership and agency culture. Support on new business development Qualifications 8+ years of media experience (with at least two years in a management or senior leadership level role spent leading multiple pieces of business). Prior experience in a multichannel, offline & online media planning role within a media agency. Thorough knowledge of planning for all digital channels, TV, radio, outdoor, print, search, etc. Effective communicator with strong storytelling capabilities. Excellent client service and relationship management skills, with a focus on collaboration. Experience with strategic connections planning and customer journey mapping. Previous people management experience (a must). A positive, problem solving attitude & approach to working. Driven by a curiosity of leveraging AI tools to advance our clients work and objectives.
