Overview Duration: 24 months + Possible 12-month Extension Security Clearance: Reliability Day-to-Day Responsibilities Plan and execute the upgrade from SharePoint Server 2016 to SharePoint Server Subscription Edition, including developing and submitting a detailed work plan. Provide weekly written status reports on progress, risks, issues and resolutions. Collaborate with stakeholders, system owners, and subject matter experts to collect and validate technical documentation. Assess the current environment by inventorying site collections, customizations and thirdparty tools, and identifying unsupported features or configurations. Validate hardware and software compatibility (OS, SQL Server and related components). Perform backups of the SharePoint 2016 farm and associated databases. Design and deploy the SharePoint Subscription Edition infrastructure and configure web applications, service applications and databases. Migrate and upgrade content databases and service applications, ensuring successful functionality. Test user access, permissions, workflows, search, custom features and document functionality. Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues and optimize configurations as needed. Complete system validation and hand over the upgraded environment to the operations team. Update and/or create technical documentation to support ongoing maintenance and support. What You Bring to the Table 5+ years of experience supporting and maintaining a corporate IT infrastructure environment (hardware, host systems, software, storage, network). 5+ years of experience developing and/or implementing IT technical architectures or solutions in a production corporate IT environment. 3+ years of experience administering Microsoft 365. 3+ years of experience administering Microsoft Azure environments. 5+ years of experience in technical infrastructure and/or cloud design, including adherence to standards and best practices. 4+ years of experience administering VMware environments. 4+ years of experience administering SAN environments (NetApp, PureStorage, Dell, HP, EMC). 3+ years of experience administering, implementing and maintaining Linux operating systems.
