Job Description

Overview Chief Financial Officer (CFO) position with a Manitoba-based organization, recruited by Lambert Nemec Group. This is a senior leadership role, reporting directly to the President, leading a team responsible for all accounting and finance functions across the organization and its related entities. The role offers a strategic partnership with the President, paired with hands-on execution to drive operational and financial results in a growth-focused environment. The organization is diversified and entrepreneurial with a strong track record and ambitious plans for continued growth. Responsibilities Manage all aspects of accounting & finance for the organization, including all related companies. Own and manage all financial relationships, including primary banking partners, lenders, and external financial stakeholders. Develop financial plans for the company. Evaluate financial metrics of potential acquisitions and provide analyses to the senior executive team. Develop an exceptional finance and accounting team to support continued growth and expansion. Oversee the preparation of monthly and yearly financial statements for all entities. Provide strategic insight and analysis for opportunities for the group of companies. Ensure financial controls are properly in place to safeguard company assets. Ensure compliance with all required regulations including CRA, GST, and PST. Qualifications The ideal Chief Financial Officer will possess a Canadian accounting designation (CPA preferred, CA/CGA/CMA). Prior experience in a real estate development, construction, and/or manufacturing environment is desirable. Key requirements include: Proven ability to influence and drive results through mentorship and building strong relationships with stakeholders. Minimum of ten years of progressive accounting and finance experience with strong business acumen. Effective communication skills and ability to work with internal and external stakeholders; capable of building relationships.
