If this sounds like a fit, wed love you to be a part of it. **About the Role:**The Chief People & Culture Officer (CPCO) is a senior enterprise leader reasonable for shaping and executing CAATs People and Culture strategy in support of our mission, vision, purpose, and long-term growth ambitions. As a member of the Senior Executive Team, the CPCO serves as a trusted advisor to the CEO and the Board, providing strategic counsel on workforce sustainability, leadership capability, organizational design, culture, and people-related risks.CAAT is a purpose-driven, high-performing, and rapidly growing organization serving more than 125,000 plan members and over 800 employers across Canada. This role requires an enterprise mindset, strong judgment, and the ability to lead through complexity within a regulated, fiduciary environment.**As The Newest Member Of Our Team, Youll:*** **Set and lead the enterprise People & Culture strategy**, aligning workforce, leadership, and culture priorities to CAATs business plan, values, and long-term growth objectives* **Serve as a trusted advisor to the CEO, Executive Leadership Team, and Board**, providing insight, foresight, and clear recommendations on people strategy, workforce risk, and organizational health* **Design and evolve organizational structures and workforce models** that enable scalability, clarity, collaboration, and adaptability across a national, hybrid workforce* **Lead enterprise workforce planning**, identifying future capability needs, talent risks, and succession priorities to support sustained growth and resilience* **Oversee inclusive talent acquisition, development, and succession strategies** that attract, develop, and retain diverse, high-performing talent.* **Champion a high-performance, inclusive culture** grounded in CAATs values of Teamwork, Integrity, and Impact, fostering engagement, accountability, and trust* **Lead enterprise change and transformation initiatives**, ensuring thoughtful change management, transparency, and strong employee experience during periods of growth and evolution* **Oversee total rewards and HR governance**, ensuring programs are competitive, risk-sensible, and compliant with pension, employment, privacy, and human rights legislation* **Provide board-level People & Culture reporting**, including workforce analytics, risk indicators, and forward-looking insights for the Governance Committee and Board* **Set the strategic direction for HR technology and analytics**, leveraging Workday and People data to enable forecasting, decision-making, and actionable insight* **Translate People data into clear, decision-ready recommendations** that support executive and Board decision-making**To Succeed, You Bring:*** 15+ years of progressive human resources leadership experience, including 5+ years at the CHRO, CPCO, or equivalent executive level within a complex, high-growth, or transforming organization* Demonstrated experience advising CEOs and Boards on People strategy, governance, workforce risk, and organizational effectiveness* An enterprise leadership mindset, with the ability to operate beyond HR and contribute meaningfully to broader organizational strategy and decision-making* Experience leading People & Culture functions and operating within organizations with hybrid working environments.* Strong expertise across core HR disciplines, including organizational design, workforce planning, talent management, total rewards, employee relations, and HR governance* Proven leadership of large-scale change initiatives, including the adoption of People analytics and modern HR technologies* Comfort working in highly regulated environments, with sound judgment and a strong understanding of risk, compliance, and fiduciary responsibility* A strong background supporting analytical, technical, or professional workforces in complex organizational settings* Exceptional executive presence and communication skills, with the ability to influence, inspire, and engage diverse stakeholders* A demonstrated commitment to integrity, inclusion, and ethical leadership, with a track record of fostering equitable and inclusive cultures* Post-secondary education in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field; a Masters degree is preferred* Experience within the pension sector or jointly sponsored pension plans is considered an asset, but not required**Why this Role Matters:**The CPCO will have a significant impact on CAAT''''s long-term success by shaping the people strategy of one of Canada''''s fastest-growing pension plans.
