Join us as a Senior Software Engineer - Pay Team at Cut+Dry . We are building AIpowered solutions to help restaurants and distributors grow their businesses. Our founders are lifelong Silicon Valley entrepreneurs who have built and exited multiple startups in the food supply chain industry. In this role, you will work closely with product, sales, and customer teams to design, develop, and ship highquality payment experiences for restaurants, distributors, and manufacturers. Responsibilities Work closely with the product team to deliver highquality code that meets product requirements. Write technical user stories and ensure nonfunctional requirements (performance, scalability, resilience, maintainability) are met. Resolve defects and manage technical debt. Develop unit tests for coverage and regression testing. Practice DevOps methods such as CI/CD, SDLC automation, proactive monitoring, and telemetry. Monitor software performance in production and ensure optimal operation. Demonstrate accountability and ownership of software components. Participate in code reviews, design discussions, and paired programming. Engage in sprint planning, standups, reviews, and retrospectives. Evaluate emerging technologies to identify opportunities and best practices. Possibly mentor junior engineers. Mandatory Experience & Qualifications Bachelors degree in CS or equivalent, or 45 years of relevant developer experience. 3+ years of experience building highperformance, highly scalable applications in an agile environment. Experience with payment systems such as ACH APIs or payment gateways (preferred). Strong understanding of Scrum, Lean, XP, Kanban, and other agile techniques. Proficiency deploying applications on AWS. Strong DevOps skills: CI/CD, deployment/delivery, configuration, containerization, IaC, monitoring. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Customerfocused agile mindset, resultsoriented. Adaptive mindset, comfortable with multiple languages and full technology stack. Ability to thrive in a fastpaced agile environment.
