SUMMARY:This position oversees daily warehouse operations and supervises staff to ensure safe, efficient, and accurate execution of all activities. The role exists to enforce company policies, maintain inventory control, and ensure timely shipping, receiving, and customer service. Through hands-on leadership and standardized procedures, the position supports productivity, safety, and continuous operational improvement.DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:Supervise warehouse employees and oversee daily operations.Enforce all company rules, policies, and regulations.Manage customer service requests promptly and resolve issues quickly.Control and manage inbound / outbound inventory.Administer forklift certification and inspection, Hazmat certification, while operating various warehouse equipment (forklifts, pallet jacks, stock pickers, etc.)Coordinate and supervise all inbound and outbound shipping/receiving.Help establish work schedules and ensure that the schedules are correctly implemented.Apply sound communication and motivational techniques in supervising, coaching and disciplining employees.Issue written and oral instructions to the team as neededStudy and standardize procedures to improve efficiency of workers.Work within the budget guidelines that have been established and make recommendations for changes when necessary.Ensure the efficient and safe operation of material handling equipment.Assist in maintaining warehouse security.Conduct operations in a manner that promotes safety and in accordance with OSHA and other appropriate standards.Provide input into performance evaluation for recommending promotions, wage increases, associate development and terminations.Interview and hire new employees as neededMaintain a clean, neat and orderly work area.QUALIFICATIONS:At least 2 years of experience managing a customs bonded facility.5+ years of work experience in bonded warehouseAbility to work a flexible work schedule with a 'hands-on' management style.Self-motivated and can work under pressureStrong oral and written communication skillsFluency in Mandarin is a plusPossess strong leadership and organizations skills.
