Job post summary Date posted: January 29, 2026 Pay: CA$21.00 per hour Job description: Job Description We are seeking a compassionate and reliable Caregiver for Elderly Person (Live-Out) to provide personal care and daily assistance to an elderly individual in a private home setting. The caregiver will support the clients comfort, safety, and independence. Main Duties Assist client with walking and movement within the home Prepare and serve nutritious meals according to dietary needs Provide medication reminders (no medical administration) Perform light housekeeping related to care (laundry, tidying, cleaning) Monitor clients condition and report changes to family Provide companionship and emotional support Accompany client to appointments or on short walks if required Employment Requirements Completion of secondary school 1 year Experience in elderly care or home support is required Caregiver training or related certification is an asset Ability to communicate in English (spoken and understood) Compassionate, patient, and dependable Ability to work independently Work Conditions Live-out position (caregiver will not reside in the employers home) Repetitive tasks Benefits Paid vacation and holidays as per provincial labour standards Supportive family work environment How to Apply Interested applicants may apply by email with a resume and brief description of caregiving experience to: Job Type: Full-time Benefits: Paid time off Work Location: In person
