About the Role Perform structural analysis and design for bridges and related transportation infrastructure, including retaining walls, bridge size culverts, and overhead sign structures. Post secondary education in engineering specializing in structural engineering. A minimum of five years of experience in bridge design and/or other structural design. Familiarity with Canadian design codes and standards. Interested in mentoring others on design best practices. Experience delivering new/rehabilitation bridge design from start to finish. Demonstrated ability to collaborate with colleagues and work with junior staff and technicians within a team environment. Bonus Points For Working towards Masters or post-graduate degree in Structural or Bridge Engineering an asset. M.Eng or MSC specializing in structural. Preference given to candidates with experience with Alberta Transportation & Economic Corridors or similar provincial clients (BC Ministry of Transportation & Transit) Seismic design & retrofit experience an asset.
