Learn More. ABOUT THE JOB: The Senior Director of Digital and Customer Applications is responsible for planning and contributing to the future strategy of Willscot''s and other related applications. This role requires strong collaboration with peers within and across various departments, ensuring alignment on technology initiatives, and driving the digital transformation of the business. The individual will manage a high-performing team, oversee technology strategy, and ensure the successful delivery of solutions that support business objectives. WHAT YOU''LL BE DOING: Responsibilities: Leadership & Team Development: Manage and develop a team of professionals to accomplish established goals. Conduct personnel duties, such as performance evaluations, hiring, and disciplinary actions, while ensuring adherence to best practices and processes. Mentor and support the team in their professional development. Team Vision & Structure: Working with leadership, develop a clear vision for the team''s roles and responsibilities, ensuring the structure is optimized for maximum impact. Align resources efficiently and work closely with peers to ensure collaboration across business units and teams. Collaboration Across Teams: Actively collaborate with senior leaders and peers from other departments (e.g., IT, Marketing, Operations, Finance) to align technology solutions with broader business strategies. Foster cross-functional relationships to drive successful project outcomes and continuous improvement. Strategic Planning & Project Review: Prepare and present regular team/project reviews to senior management and business leaders, providing insights into progress, roadblocks, and future strategies. Drive the design and development of system architecture, collaborating with end-users to enhance the quality of deliverables. Policy & Process Compliance: Ensure staff follow documented policies and procedures and maintain accurate and comprehensive documentation. Regularly review processes to ensure alignment with best practices and promote consistency across teams. Budget & Change Management: Monitor and manage project approach and results to stay within approved budgeting parameters. Oversee change management efforts, ensuring proper controls, documentation, and approvals for changes in requirements. Issue Resolution & Recommendations: Research and resolve issues, providing recommendations for improvement. Collaborate with peers and senior management to escalate challenges and ensure effective resolution. Disaster Recovery & Testing: Manage and maintain disaster recovery plans, ensuring appropriate testing is conducted. Oversee the implementation of new applications, providing status after successful testing. Best Practices & Process Implementation: Contribute to defining and implementing best practices and processes within the department. Work with peers to ensure transparency, consistency, and alignment of processes across the organization. EDUCATION AND QUALIFICATIONS: Qualifications: 7 years of experience in technology leadership, with a strong focus on and digital transformation initiatives. 10 years of management experience, including leading and mentoring diverse technology teams. Proven expertise in a broad range of technologies and the ability to drive innovation through collaboration and strategic partnerships. Hands-on experience in multiple full application development lifecycles, with a focus on solution architecture and technical leadership. Strong strategic mindset, with the ability to align technology initiatives with business objectives and drive enterprise-wide impact. Excellent collaboration skills with the ability to work cross-functionally with peers across different business units. Education: Bachelor''s degree required; Master''s degree preferred.
