Job Description The Storeroom Supervisor is responsible for receiving, processing incoming stock/product, preparing /completing orders for delivery/pickup & performing inventory & quality controls. The Storeroom Supervisor is responsible for oversight or delegation of responsibilities within the storeroom. Essential functions & responsibilites of the position may vary by Aramark location based on client requirments & business needs. Job Responsibilities Maintain professional relationship with suppliers, vendors & the client Work with suppliers & vendors on invoicing issues Work with suppliers & vendors on pricing guidelines & opportunities Work with PRIMA & Expense Budget Tool daily Work closely with Exec Chef, Catering Chef & Sous Chefs regarding: - PRIMA daily needs list - Cross reference Daily needs list with current stock on hand & adjust order numbers accordingly - Notifying chefs of stocked items that are running short to ensure no issues - Notifying chefs of stocked items approaching expiration date to ensure no spoilage - Ensure that shorted items receive a suitable substitution - Ensure that all required items are delivered on time or teams are notified Work closely with Sysco to ensure items needed are received or substituted based on Chef''s instructions. Work with Syscosource website to: - Place food orders - Compare prices - Ensure compliant purchasing Responsible for overall Inventory of the Dining Centre & Catering: - accuracy for storeroom, walkin fridges, freezers, etc. - Knowing what is in stock & where to find it - Break out spend dollars into different GLs food, paper, chemicals, etc. Full Job description available during Hiring process. Qualifications Previous experinece in/with: storeroom a supervisory or related role preferred Syscosource, PRIMA, Expense Budget Tool an asset tracking expendatures relating to food cost & other product costs Advanced knowledge in Microsoft Excel This jobs requires more than working knowledge Must have ability to work independently with limited supervision Must be able to follow basic safety procedures & precautions due to physical risks Demonstrates interpersonal & communication skills, both written & verbal Basic math & counting skills required Requires frequent lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling up to 50 lbs Must be available to work flexible hours including evenings & weekends This role may have physical demands including, but not limited to, lifting, bending, pushing, pulling and/or extended walking & standing. This role may also require uniforms and/or usage of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
