School website: Job description The Receptionist and Administrative Support plays a central role at the Lyce Franais de Toronto by providing reception, orientation, and first-level administrative support to the entire school community. As the school''s first point of contact, he/she contributes to the smooth running of reception, security, logistics, and basic medical monitoring services, in accordance with current policies. Working in a bilingual and multicultural environment, the position requires professionalism, organisation, discretion, and an excellent sense of service. Reporting to the Administrative and Financial Director, the incumbent actively contributes to the quality of the user experience and the institutional image of the Lyce. Main duties Welcoming, informing, and guiding students, families, employees, and visitors Manage phone calls, mailboxes, and entry/exit logs Ensure the distribution of information related to security and internal protocols Participate in the monitoring and enforcement of security procedures (CCTV, drills) Provide first-aid medical care in accordance with established policies Receive mail and goods and ensure their distribution Place orders for supplies and support the logistical organization of school events Education and experience High school diploma or equivalent Postsecondary diploma in administration, office automation, or a related field (an asset) Experience in a school, educational, or institutional environment (an asset) Skills Excellent command of French and English, both spoken and written Proficiency in office automation tools and ability to adapt to administrative systems Excellent interpersonal, communication, and customer service skills Discretion and strict adherence to confidentiality Ability to work independently, availability, and dynamism Organizational skills, attention to details Ability to work effectively under pressure, in a fast pacing environment and interact with a variety of people Ability to represent the institution in a positive, professional manner consistent with its values Awareness of accessibility and inclusion principles Ability to thrive in a multicultural and bilingual environment Certifications First aid/CPR, health and safety, accessibility (AODA) or commitment to obtain them Working conditions Schedule: 37.5 hours per week, Monday through Friday Permanent contract Dynamic school environment with an open workspace Unionized position governed by the LFT collective agreement Compensation: $40,000 to $45,000 depending on experience How to apply Please sendyour resume and cover letterto: Deadline: February 17, 2026 This document describes the general nature of the duties.
