ROLE PURPOSE Were seeking a reliable, detail-oriented Home Assistant to keep our household calm, organized, and fully reset each evening. This role exists to reduce time, stress, and cognitive load by ensuring the home is next-day readyevery day. This is not deep cleaning. Its daily upkeep, organization, and proactive support. CORE RESPONSIBILITIES 1. Daily Home Reset (Primary Focus) Before leaving each evening, ensure the home is reset and ready: Kitchen wipe-down (counters, sink, stove, backsplash) Load/unload dishwasher Tidy living room, dining area, and entryway Light bathroom wipe (sinks, counters, mirrors; TP check) Sweep/vacuum high-traffic areas General straightening and surface organization Return daily-use items to designated places (keys, bags, mail, chargers) 2. Laundry & Organization Start, switch, fold, and put away laundry (weekly) Maintain closets, drawers, and storage areas Light organizing projects when time allows 3. Kitchen & Food Support Light meal prep support (wash/chop veggies, reheat meals) Clean up after dinner or prep Maintain fridge and pantry organization Flag expired or soon-to-expire items Light fridge wipe when time permits 4. Household Routines Garbage, recycling, and compost (including curb days) Bring bins to/from curb and store properly Collect mail daily and place in designated spot 5. Pet Care Feed cats per instructions Refresh water daily Scoop litter daily weekly clean 6. Light Outdoor Upkeep (As Needed) Sweep entryways, patios, walkways Water plants Light weeding and tidying (No heavy landscaping or snow removal) 7. Supplies & Consumables Monitor essentials (TP, paper towels, dish soap, cat food, etc.) Flag low supplies early (No purchasing unless explicitly agreed) 8.
