Visit us at Summary of the role The position of Machine Learning Researcher at NTWIST aims to provide valuable contributions to the development, deployment, and support of machine learning solutions. Responsibilities Conduct research and development in the field of machine learning, exploring new algorithms, models, and techniques. Design and implement machine learning models to solve real-world problems, leveraging large datasets and advanced analytics. Collaborate with data scientists, engineers, and domain experts to understand project requirements and translate them into actionable ML solutions. Perform data pre-processing, feature engineering, and data analysis to extract meaningful insights and improve model performance. Select and apply appropriate machine learning algorithms and methodologies to address specific business challenges. Train and fine-tune machine learning models using various techniques such as supervised and unsupervised learning, reinforcement learning, and deep learning. Evaluate and validate model performance using appropriate metrics and statistical methods, ensuring accuracy and reliability. Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in machine learning research and technologies, and apply relevant concepts and techniques to enhance our ML capabilities. Collaborate with the wider ML community, attending conferences, workshops, and seminars, and contributing to academic research papers. Document research findings, methodologies, and experiment results in clear and concise reports or technical documentation. Participate in code reviews, provide feedback, and contribute to the development and improvement of ML infrastructure and frameworks. Actively participate in brainstorming sessions, sharing ideas, and providing insights to drive innovation and continuous improvement. Desired Profile Educational Qualification: Masters degree (or equivalent) in computer science, information technology, or engineering Technical Skills: MATLAB - Python Library cross usage. Applications - Modeling (parametric/non-parametric), Automatic hyperparameter tuning Control Systems - Basic Feedback Control, Optimization, Non-Gradient Optimization Research - Strategic - Identify current gaps (Literature Survey), propose strategic initiatives, develop PoCs for the same. Customer/Internal Customer - Identify data, utilize specific methods, scientifically report findings and recommendations. Math - Probability and Statistics, Maximum Likelihood Estimation, Expectation Maximization, Gaussian Process Regression, Bayesian approach. Soft Skills Pitching skills - Interaction with customers periodically for scoping until the delivery of the Documentation - Develop Scope, Hypothesis, Experiment, and Expected Results Document (SHEER) for Scientific planning and reporting of research activities. #J-18808-Ljbffr
